What began as a humble chipper in Dún Laoghaire has become a flavorful journey of heritage, heart, and connection.
Tajinder Singh, an Indian food entrepreneur with a passion for bold, honest flavors, founded Legends of Dún Laoghaire over 14 years ago — bringing Irish favorites like golden fish & chips to life with care and pride.

Along the way, he met Sugandha Shukla, a senior software engineer in the IT industry whose true passion lies in the art of food. Drawn together by a shared love for authentic flavors, they discovered not just a business partnership, but a partnership for life.

Together, they launched Turmeric – Indian Cuisine by Legends of Dún Laoghaire — a vibrant celebration of their roots, blending traditional Indian dishes with the same heart and hospitality that made Legends a local favorite.

Today, under one roof, Legends of Dún Laoghaire and Turmeric offer the best of both worlds: Irish comfort and Indian soul — served with passion, purpose, and pride.
